Councillor for Shortlands & Park Langley Ward

Aisha has represented Shortlands Ward since 2018, first elected as a Councillor for Shortlands in 2018 before being elected for the new Shortlands & Park Langley Ward in 2022. Aisha is currently Bromley's tackling loneliness lead. She has worked in the housing sector for over eight years in a variety of different communications and marketing roles and is currently the Head of Corporate Communication for a G15 London-based housing association. She has sat on a number of charity boards and is currently a Member of the Langley Park Learning Trust.

She’s a passionate advocate of women in business and politics and was one of the founders of the Conservative Young Women’s organisation. 

A former national synchronised swimmer, she represented Team GB at the 2017 FINA (International Swimming Federation) World Masters Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

Aisha lives in Shortlands with her husband, Neil and their two young children.

Tackling Loneliness

Councillor Aisha Cuthbert (Shortlands Ward) is Conservative-run Bromley Council's Loneliness Champion. Through this role she has helped develop a co-authored stratgey to tackling loneliness across the Borough.
