Bob Stewart MP

Bob Stewart was elected as MP for the Beckenham Constituency on the 6th May 2010 and was  re-elected on the 7th May 2015 and the 8th June 2017.

Bob was educated at RMA Sandhurst and the University of Wales, spending 26 years as an Army officer reaching the rank of Colonel.  Over that time he completed seven tours in Northern Ireland and led the first British soldiers into Bosnia as British UN Commander - for which he was awarded the DSO.  Thereafter, in civilian life, he worked in private business.

Bob is married with children attending local schools, two of whom are enthusiastic members of the Bromley Youth Music Trust and one who plays rugby for the Beccehamians at Sparrows Den. He lives in the constituency and commutes to Westminster by train.
