Gareth Bacon has been an Assembly Member since 2008 and in May 2016 was elected as the Assembly Member for Bexley and Bromley.

He was formely Chairman of the Assembly’s Budget & Performance and Oversight Committees, and was also Leader of the GLA Conservative Group.
